From Garmin, the world's leader in GPS navigation, comes the New Garmin Rino, a 2-Way Radio and GPS with Point Database all in one unit.

The Rino delivers 2-way radio communications and GPS navigation to guide you to destinations and even view the locations of other Rino users.

For the above reasons, an all gray model is now being utilized by soldiers in the gulf.

The Rino's exclusive position reporting feature allows you to send and receive GPS positions from other Rino users so you can keep track of your friends on skiing or camping trips, sporting events, and other outdoor adventures.
Rinos transmit a user's position through the FRS spectrum. The seven voice-only GMRS channels are dedicated to vocal communication only. Position information can be transmitted to any other Rino user within a two-mile range.

Radio Page
From the Rino's Radio Page, you can select a channel and squelch code so you can talk with your buddies with less chance of interference from other radio users.  

Map Page
The Rino 110 has a graphic plotter screen that shows your location, waypoints you've marked and stored, and optional points of interest from MapSource™. The face icons are your contacts, or other Rino users who've called you and automatically sent their position data. Each time they call, their position will be updated on your map display. The dotted line shows the track log of each contact so you can see where they've been.  

Navigation Page
When you tell the Rino to "Goto" a waypoint or other location, the Navigation Page helps guide you there with a graphic compass that points to your destination. The user-selectable data fields show information such as the distance and time of arrival.  

Point of Interest Listing
With optional downloaded detail from MapSource™, you can look up points of interest and get address and phone number information. Select "Goto" and the Rino will guide you to your destination. The Rino 110 is compatible with the MapSource™ Points of Interest CD. The Trip Computer displays a ton of navigation information. You can even select different categories of data to display.   

Mark Waypoint
Rino can store up to 500 waypoints or locations you want to mark and store so you can navigate to them later. You can name your waypoints and assign a graphic symbol.
