This jewelers quality gemstone globe style is available in four sizes with either gold, antiqued copper, or antiqued silver frames. A compass is featured in the bottom of each frame. These magnificent handmade gemstone globes are created with each country (yes country, not just the continents) inlaid with one of over 20 different, highly polished, semiprecious stones. Even a small gemstone globe can take many man-hours to painstakingly assemble and polish. Some of the strikingly different stones used are Amethyst, Jade, Mother-of-pearl, Lapis Lazuli, Tiger-eye, Green Agate, Abalone, Red Jasper, Rhodonite, Snow Flake, Turquerentine, Unakite, and Picture Jasper.
