These magnificent handmade gemstone globes are created with each country (yes country, not just the continents) inlaid with one of over 20 different, highly polished, semiprecious stones. Even just a medium-sized gemstone globe can take over 1000 man-hours to produce. Some of the strikingly different stones used are Amethyst, Jade, Mother-of-pearl, Lapis Lazuli, Tiger-eye, Green Agate, Abalone, Red Jasper, Rhodonite, Snow Flake, Turquerentine, Unakite, and Picture Jasper.
