These
110mm (4 inch) gemstone globes are created with each country
(yes country, not just the continents) inlaid with one of over
20 different, highly polished, semiprecious stones. Even a small
gemstone globe can take many man-hours to painstakingly assemble
and polish. Some of the strikingly different stones used are
Amethyst, Jade, Mother-of-pearl, Lapis Lazuli, Tiger-eye, Green
Agate, Abalone, Red Jasper, Rhodonite, Snow Flake, Turquerentine,
Unakite, and Picture Jasper. The round wooden base is in Cherrywood
finish.
(These
jeweler's quality gemstone globes are also available for the
same price with oceans in a variety of colors ( black onyx,
red jasper, yellow jasper, turquoise, green, white howlite,
or purple) rather than the blue Lapis shown.
